A Look at the Various Bmx Parts Available in the Market
Riding a BMX racer bike will be the most thrilling experience you will ever have. These bikes are specially designed for riders who love the feel of wind in their hair. BMX bikes are sturdy and lightweight and therefore many of the riders prefer these bikes. To enhance the performance and looks of the bikes various parts are available in the market. While performing you must be safe and therefore frames of the bicycles must be strong enough when the thing goes wrong. Along with the solid features for the jumpers, the frames are made lightweight. Lightweight frames are easy to lift. To gather all requirements the frames are built with heat-treated butted chromoly tubing. In these frames seat pole are internally clipped. Small lightweight dropouts of 14mm axle slots are made available in the frames.
Another important part used in the bike is Forks. These forks are made from full heat treated colonized CrMo material. The design of the forks is based on the Tapered fork leg design. Required forks need to be double butted and angled bottom caps.
Chain is the major part of the bike and these are no longer just a way to connect drive trains but chains give strength, adjustability and foremost thing is looks to the bike. To obtain all these specifications interlock chains are in demand. Standard chain has 9 teeth with higher compatibility. Weight of the chain is around 1.5OZ with 98 links.
Along with the chains, chain wheels are equally important. These chain wheels need to be made up from CNC machines and about 6mm aluminum. These chain wheels easily accommodate the chain of 1/8" length. The spindle bore of the wheel are around 22mm.
The wheels are provided with the adopter of about 19mm.
Handlebars are the main point of attraction with the strength. Good weight baring capacity brings the handlebars in command. The material of the handle bars are designed by full heat treatment. These handle bars are available in various sizes.
The wheels used for the bikes must be smooth to improve the speed while racing. These wheels are provided with loose ball cassette. To give the rocking performance the wheels are provided either with singled walled black rim or with double wall high polished rim. From both the way, you are getting the reliable thing. These wheels are comprised of about 48H loose ball hub with around 14mm 4130 hardened axle. Ball bearing is used for flawless performance. The rims strips are coated with nylon rubber.
Sudden and safe stopping is necessary in the racing. Breaks control the distance of the jumps and tricks therefore the breaks must be powerful. Wider arms of the break give superior breaking power with added pulls. Better chain clearance becomes easy when the brakes are with low profile top bolt and springs. To avoid the frictions brakes are sealed with the bearings that reduces the friction on the break poles.
