Is there a special way to ride a fixie/fixed gear bike?
So I got a fixie about a month ago, and all my guy friends are asking me if i know how to ride fixie... and I don't really get what they mean when they say that cause its a bike and i know how to ride a bike. So basically I just want to know is if there actually is like a special way of riding a fixie.
also the bike does have brakes (which i can easilly take off), and it has a flip-flop hub so unlike most fixed gears, I can coast.
They are probably wondering if you can ride it fixed. They wouldn't ask that if you were, have you been using the freewheel side ?
