What is the best hard-tail mountain bike i can buy for under £400 (UK)?
I am male.
for a quality frame and finishing kit (tyres, saddle, grips etc) you can't go far wrong with a Specialized Hardrock. The Scott Aspect 40, Gt avalanche 3.0 and Giant Yukon disc are all worth a look as well.
Whatever you go for it's worth keping to the big brands as they tend to offer the best value for money and have the most thought put into their designs. A company that builds £4000 bikes knows a thing or two about building a proper £400 bike.
