skate park question?
hey i ride a bike.. as you can see by my tag, but anyway do anyof you know any good Mountain bike or skate parks in the westchester new york area, besides new rochel, grahm hill, diablo free ride, saxon woods, and rye?

There is about a two or three-mile loop at the SUNY Purchase campus, where Purchase St. ends just past Anderson Hill Road. The Mall, a road which bisects the campus, has been recently repaved and is reputed to be a fine place for grinding, bashing, and other aggressive skating.
The North County Trailway is a rails-to-trails project, having been created along the right of way of the former Putnam Line Railroad, which ceased operation in 1962. Westchester County acquired the easement and has been paving it with asphalt. Currently, the trailway is three non-contiguous segments, but when they get linked up, the path should be about 22 miles long. The Yorktown website includes info and a map (a really big map). Alternatively, you can contact Westchester County Dept. of Parks and Recreation, Moore Ave., Mt. Kisco, NY 10549, for info. Inline skating is expressly permitted on the trail, but you'll have to contend with pedestrians, joggers, cyclists, etc.
