Help! Elbow Grease Impervious Soap Scum!!!!?
My elderly father doesn't clean as often as he should because it's hard for him to move around - so I decided to clean his bathroom for him.
Let me tell ya - comet w bleach, heavy duty scouring pads and lots of elbow grease aren't cutting it. (I scrubbed for half an hour)
Any advice? we have real hard water and my father uses regular bar soap....someone told me vinegar, but I cant get it to stay on the sides of the tub (under the soap dish) where it needs the most help....

I have been using natural cleaners, and I love them. They have a Tub & Tile cleaner that works better than anything I have ever used. Really takes off all the hard water deposits, just spray it on and let it set for a couple of minutes, then wipe it. They also have what they call No Work, that you can spray on the tub or shower after you get done bathing, keeps all that yuck from building up. That would be easy for your dad to do, so you would not have to clean it so often. No harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia to breath, so much healthier, economical, and enviornmentally friendly.
