Agility Foundation: Shadow handling and rear crosses
how do you replace the left rear turn signal housing on a 2003 honda shadow vlx?
I got cut off the other day by some idiot and dropped my bike, frankly I am lucky to be alive, but my question is how do you replace the left rear turn signal housing on my 2003 honda shadow vlx it is cracked and needs to be replaced any advice would be appreciated
There is a nut on the backside of the turnsignal, behind where it mounts, with 2 wires coming out of it you need to trace the wires up to where they plug in and unplug them.then remove the nut and off comes the turn signal.If there isn`t a nut on the back side there will be an 8 mm headed bolt and you take it out.Then turn the turn signal 45 degrees and it will come out, unplug the wires first though of course. Reverse this to reassemble.
