I just cant get my Akropovic baffles out !!!?
please has any1 any ideas on how to pull out the removeable baffles on my Akropovic titanium slip-on cans, on my new Aprilia RSV000. The dealer said, undo the little allen key nuts, then use a pair of pliers and jiggle the baffle left-right left-right whilst pulling on it. Well, I have tried with all my might, so has a mate, and Im 6ft and reasonably strong but cant get them out for love nor money. The baffle has moved about an inch but they seem to be unable to pass the actual outer part of the can itself. Ive tried washing-up liquid and trying when the exhaust is hot and also when cold but to no avail. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Safe riding dudes !
Don't know about your muffler.
Try sticking a long piece of wood into the front of the pipe and hit it and the baffle out the rear.
