Cycling the long white cloud - New Zealand bike trip
I wear a pair of thermal gloves with waterproof cycling gloves on top and still my hands turn white with cold?
The only way to warm up my hands is to bang them against my legs to get the blood back to them. Even when I just pop to the shops, my fingers go white and I cant feel anything. Once the blood is pumped back in, they are then fine.
Any answers guys??
Can you cycle in mittens - they are warmer since there is no air rushing between the fingers.
Apart from that nothing to do apart from thicker glovers, or perhaps as you cycle take a hand of the handlebars and flex it and the arm to get the blood going through it.
